Daddy's little girl...

We just enjoyed a few days together as a family, as George's work schedule gave him a few days off in a row this week. How wonderful! Brynn sure loves her Daddy. She lights up when he walks in the room. =)

Here she is enjoying her Daddy's music

Yay! Yesterday we went for a walk, and I think it might be Fall! I saw a leaf fall from a tree! =) Yes, you northerners, it really is that sad down here.

No really, the weather was beautiful yesterday so we went for a walk and then tossed a football around, Brynn was THRILLED when we gave her the football. I LOVE these pictures.
She's just too cute!

Praying that we'll give her the ball back..
Oh, how I pray that the Lord will rescue her soul, and that this will be a common position of her heart...

Mommy and her girl..

Ok, this has to be one of the sweetest pictures I've seen in a long time...

Here is a short video of Brynn on her very first horsie ride. =)
If you listen closely, you'll hear her giggle that she sported for the whole ride.
SO fun!

video

And here, we have a video of Brynn being her silly morning self.
You can hear how vocal she's getting!
Crazy girl...

too close

We are too close to her birthday!!! Only three more weeks till my baby girl is One Year Old! Unbelievable. I can't think about it without feeling very sad... =) I'm so grateful to God for this past year, but it's just so hard to believe it's already been a year. I tried everything I know to enjoy every moment, and I did. It just still flew by. I have to remember that this life is only a breath. It's only my preparation for Heaven. =)

We are still having a blast... Brynn is now clapping for "please." and she uses it all the time, especially when I say "no." =) She is pointing, all the time... she has started taking a few steps, but not walking yet. I'm not encouraging anything of the sort. We have just a few photo's and a video to share with you.. Hope you enjoy!

Danae and Brynn, inseparable..

CUTIE PIE!

You just love those moments when you are able to watch them play when they have no idea that you are watching, right? I do, that's for sure... Here, Brynn is dancing away to her little toy.. So fun, sometimes I wonder how I ever get anything done! =)

Last day in Chicago

Today is our last day in Chicago, we leave early tomorrow.
We have just had a wonderful time. I'm so grateful we had this time away. I enjoyed my time with my little girl (who is getting soo big) so very much. What a blessing to have so much time with just me and Brynn, without having any other responsibilities needing to get done. I'll remember this time with her for a long time. She's just such a sweetheart, we spent lot's of time bonding this past week. =) She also is in love with Aunt Jeannine and Uncle Duane now too. She crawls over to them and reaches up all the time, just to give hugs and kisses (and sometimes she gets snacks from them too...)
Thank you, Aunt Nene and Uncle D, for your amazing hospitality. You are so so very kind to let us come and stay. We just love having time with you guys, and are so grateful to God for you. Thanks for letting us invite ourselves. =) We love you!!!

Here are some more pics, I've had a little fun with the camera up here. It's just such a beautiful backyard, I'm hoping to choose one of these for her 10 month picture. =) I have plenty to choose from!

goofy girl!

so pretty...

Only the doggie can make her smile! =)

kisses for Annie, what a good doggie

My little farm girl..

I'm tired of this mommy, I want to play!

Here we have some of the things we've been up to!

Crawling under the picnic table on the porch, one of her favorite pastimes...

Spent the day at the Arboretum (sure I spelled that wrong) with my Cousin Joel, Tawana and Ruben (this is Ruben with his gramma in the picture... so sweet)

I love this picture...

touching the flowers,
Aunt Nene taught Brynn to touch all the plants and trees...
She picked up on it right away!

Deep in thought...

Home again playing outside

Yay! Finally a big smile!!!

Rice and Beans for dinner... Her favorite.
My litte Puertorican girl! =)
She fed herself, as I'm sure you can see... ha

Tonight we are heading into the city to Wrigley Field!! We're going to see a cubs game! Yay! Daddy is excited, and we are too. =)
Can't wait to see everybody at home...

Saturday, September 12, 2009

Hey Everyone! We are still having a wonderful time, just wanted to post some pictures from our past few days... On Thursday we enjoyed a nice relaxing day at home... I took Brynn outside and did a little photo shoot. She's a beauty, but a serious one... =) Here are a few of my favorites.

Here are some new tricks:

Clapping

SO BIG!!!

Just hanging out...
Bubble time

"This little piggy" with Uncle D.

She loves to play with Annie

And, she loves to try to sneak up the stairs without mommy seeing...
She's a quick one!

Then on Friday we went to the ZOO!!

Brynn's first trip to the zoo..

Got to see the Girraffe's, Brynn was so cute seeing all the animals.

Looking at the Elephants with Mommy

and the Polar Bear...

SO cute petting the goats!

Check out that big ear right in my face! =)

So tired from having so much fun at the zoo

Hanging out with uncle D. again...

Then we ended our day with a campfire!
Lots of firsts for Brynn yesterday!

Today is another nice "stay home" day... Aunt Jeannine and I went to a French Market this morning, and Brynn and I are getting ready to go play outside some more.. Maybe try some different pictures, I'm hoping I can get some smiling outside pictures this time. She was so serious the other day!
Can't wait for tomorrow night, Daddy comes!!!

We are enjoying our time in Chicago!
Brynn has decided while we're here to start doing all kinds of new things!
She has started clapping, and doing her "so big" sign...
She's a little show off, always doing all her tricks in row, kisses, hugs, clapping and so big.. She's hilarious.. I'll try to get some good video, it's just that I know as soon as I pull out the camera, she won't do a thing. =)

Here we are enjoying Aunt Jeannine's beautiful green backyard! Usually we come when it's white! I love northern grass...

Yesterday we went to see my cousin Deb, and her son Seth. Uncle Duane made Seth a train table from scratch! Isn't it amazing! Seth loves it, and loved helping put it together too!

We'll say "look how great Brynn and Seth played together! They were great buddies!" That's the goal of this picture... we'll leave the truth up to your imagination! ha =)

Brynn enjoying Aunt Nene's bath this morning.
What a goofball!

We are having fun, we miss everyone at home, especially Daddy~ can't wait for you to join us this weekend Babe!
We'll try to continue posting as we're here!

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

Well, Brynn and I made it safe and sound to Chicago last night. We came up here so that Daddy could work real hard (nights/overtime) and we'll stay out of his way. Plus, he's blessing us by allowing us to come and enjoy time with my Aunt Jeannine and Uncle Duane. It's so great to be here, I love coming here.
We had a good flight up, I ended up getting to sit in Business Class with an empty seat beside me. I was a little nervous flying with a 9 month old by myself, so it was wonderful having all that extra room. Brynn is just a "little" busy at this age, and was quite squirmy, but she did great, considering she was stuck sitting on my lap for 2.5 hours. =)
We did have one little incident... It was my first Mommy panicking moment. I don't like them. I know there will be more, but I like to imagine there won't be. We had just gotten on the plane, and hadn't even left the gate yet. Brynn was eating snacks and I had an ice water, she loves to drink out of my cups, so she was having some of my water and then when the water was gone, she was playing in the ice. At some point she had gotten a piece of ice and put it in her mouth, without me completely realizing what was going on. Before I knew it, I guess she swallowed it, and I thought, oh no, that's painful... (you know when you swallow too big of a piece of ice and it hurts??) Well, then she was making this awful face and then started to choke.. then continued to choke... I'm thinking "you're ok... You're ok..." I started hitting her back as her face kept getting red, she's still choking... Then she starts gagging, and some bloody mucus starts coming up. I start thinking, "ummmm ok," then I'm still like, "you're ok, the ice will melt..." But she kept choking, so all of the sudden I realized she
wasn't ok, and wasn't breathing. So I jumped up and yelled, "I need Help! She's choking and I don't know what to do!" all these people ran over to me and were helping me, as she's still throwing up bloody mucus.. just then she started crying, which tells me she's breathing... So the one guy who was helping, was telling me, "she's ok, the ice probably just melted enough to go down..." And then she cried for a little bit and I nursed her and she was fine. Then I hid in my corner and cried too... =) Thank you God. It was so scary. I'm so grateful that God is in control and He is sovereign, that I don't have to fear, knowing that Brynn's life is in His hands. All of our day's are numbered, and Brynn is not mine, she is the Lord's. He's blessed me with the job of taking care of and raising her to the best of my ability.
So, that was my fun moment. =) Thank you God for protecting my baby girl... Thank you for hearing my prayers day after day... You are so good.

My sweet little 9 month old...

I really cannot believe I'm saying that! How can she be nine months already? Time is flying like it never has... As I understand, it just keeps going faster.. So, we are nine months, going on ten. We've been enjoying every day, every moment.. She's continuously doing something new... She is a pro at waving bye-bye, she's just started kissing (at her own leisure...) and now she's started giving me hugs (my FAVORITE!). She's starting to copy us, saying da-da and ma-ma (not sure if that's on purpose yet) and she's finally dancing! She dances with her head (bobbing back and forth). She kisses the babies in her books (more than she kisses me!) and she's just started hugging and kissing her Piglet and Tigger... I just love this stage, just as I've loved every stage. I hope it stays that way! Here are some pictures of what we've been up to the past few weeks.

She loves to help mommy with the laundry!

that's one helpful looking face...

thank you Brynn!

She also loves to crawl under the chairs

sometimes she gets stuck

but she always figures it out!

Every kid has to have this picture taken right?

"No way mommy! I'm not doing anything wrong!
just look how cute I am!"

She is so great at playing piano!
she can barely reach it, notice the tippy toes...

We got to spend a morning with Crystal, Joshua, Caleb and Tyler,
they had so much fun together!

cutey pie

Gotta love it!!!

The weekend

Well, we had a very fun weekend! First, I wanted to introduce you to our new friend,
Bradley Lytle.
Seth and Tracy, two of our best friends, had their second baby, a week ago last Friday. Emily and I were able to go visit him last Friday and we had a little photo shoot with him. He's such a cutie pie and Mommy is doing great.. =)

Then, George, Brynn and Mommy were able to go to West Palm Beach for the weekend, we got to spend lot's of time with my brother Jake, his wife Shannon and their baby girl Danielle. Brynn and Danielle are 3 days apart and they were soo cute together! They just played and played! I'm sure it's just the beginning of a very fun friendship over the years. How fun to have a cousin so close! Shannon and I were like the paparrazi taking pictures of them, I'm sure they got annoyed with us, but oh well, now we have all the memories! =) haha

It didn't take long for them to want the same toy... =)

two cuties in their jammies playing together

Then Danielle showed Brynn all around her house..

Getting ready to go swimming with Uncle Jake

What a life!

Oh my, how cute!

Playin after the pool..

Cutie pies in their matching dresses, thanks to Nana!! =)

Hmm, what'cha doin' there Brynn?

Both watching Elmo dance

Umm, excuse me Danielle, you are hogging the toy! =)

So cute

Thanks for having us Jake and Shannon, we had a blast! We will have to work hard over the years to get these two together so they know eachother well! How fun!!

Summer!

Today we spent an afternoon at the pool! What fun! Brynn did great!
We were practicing all kinds of things!
Like: splashing, kicking, going under, jumping in off the wall, floating, and relaxing in her floatie! She's gonna be a swimmin' in no time!!! =D
Here's a little look at our afternoon.

More pictures!

She just keeps on growing. Getting bigger and bigger.
Brynn is Eight months old now.
She has two bottom teeth.
She waves bye-bye.
She stands up everywhere.
Yesterday she was walking behind her toy all by herself.
Is there any way to make it slow down???!!!

"Hey Mommy, Look at me!"

She Loves her Aunt Holly, so do I!

Practicing her barre work for ballet!

That's better, now she looks like a ballerina in her tutu.

She loves to come with me to work, and she loves Miss Ali!
I'm so blessed!

This is her concentrating face, or I should say, her concentrating lips. =)

Yes, we auditioned. It was fun. =)

You'll always be "my American Idol" baby!

How cute is this??!

Swimming in the pool at the beach. Gotta love that bikini!

There really just aren't any words to describe this season of life. To have this time with my first baby, to get to be her mommy. I had one of those days on Tuesday where we stayed home most of the day and all day I kept thinking was, "How do I get to do this??" I'm SO blessed! I can't even comprehend the kindness of God to give us this baby girl. I am having the time of my life. I love her so much its hard to even believe. =) I listened yesterday to the song "My Sweet, My Lovely" by Plumb. It's the song I sang to Brynn while she was in the belly and then the first song I listened to after she was born, the first time I cried as I held her. She was only minutes old. The second verse says:
I stare into
The bluest eyes
Time stands still in
Your smile
You weren't there
And now you're here
I dreamed of you
But I never knew
how...sweet and lovely.....

Thank you My God, for this amazing gift of life you've so freely poured out. I'll never understand, but I'll worship you forever for your continued blessings.

6th Month

Wow, Today is Brynn's 7 month birthday... Wow, it's so hard to believe she's been here for 7 months already! What a gift she is, I can't imagine life without her. Isn't it amazing how quickly we feel that way? I am absolutely loving this season of life, it's already rushing by so quickly... Here is an update on what we've been up to since returning from Italy.. Brynn's 6th Month:

The classic eating the toes picture,
gotta love it!

First time eating solids! Give it to me daddy!!!

Messy face, Yummy Butternut Squash!

Brynn and I got to spend the day with her cousins Maddie and Bridget, we had so much fun, first we modeled sun glasses.. This is Bridget, she's 7 weeks younger than Brynn... Check out that hair! =)

Silly Maddie! She's Two and a Half.. Such a cutie..

Brynn's turn to model! Haha, she cracks me up!

Brynn and Biddy having their first fight...
You'll see video of this at the bottom!

So, I put them both in front of a Baby Einstein video, and Brynn is SO serious when she's watching, and Biddy is SO crazy, notice the blurred hands and feet and the big smile! They were hilarious! Brynn would look over at Biddy and stare at her, and then back at the t.v. I think she was annoyed. I was laughing so hard at the two of them. Talk about seeing some personality differences!
Soo tired, couldn't even make it through dinner...

Mommy and Brynn, ready to go to Daddy's show

Brynn watching Generation Letter

Big girl, crawling!

Going far far away...

We are so excited to be heading off to Italy tomorrow. I can't believe it's finally here! We are going to spend two weeks vacation with George's family. Alyssa, if you remember, has been over there since January. We get to see her on Wednesday!!!! Agh!!! I'm SO excited to see her. I'm excited to be in Italy, but that doesn't compare to how excited I am to see Alyssa. She's been gone way way too long and I'm making sure she get's on that plane to come home. ;-) But, just wanted to let you know we will be away. I am hoping to be able to update some on the blog while we're gone, but I'm aware that it might be difficult. So, I'll try! If not, I'll have tons to post when we get home.

Today while packing, Brynn decided to help. She pulled up onto her feet all by herself. I was SHOCKED! I watched her do it, she got to her knees first and pulled right up onto her feet. She's not even 6 months yet! I'm sure it was a one time thing that won't happen again for a while. Actually I shouldn't say "I'm sure," I should say I "HOPE!" =D So here's a picture so you can all believe me. I tried to get video of her actually doing it, 'cause she did it a few times after (when I prompted) and she was too tired and didn't want to do it anymore...

My little superhero...

Happy Mothers Day

Just wanted to take a minute to honor my "Mom's"...

To my Momma, I love you more than words can say. Thank you for the way you have prepared me so well for this new season of my life. Thank you for the countless hours that I know you spent teaching me and training me. Thank you for the hours that you played with me on the floor that I'm now doing with my baby girl. It is amazing to me that this is what you did! =) You were the best mommy for me. Thank you for the way you have loved and honored the Lord in all that you do. Thank you for teaching me how to Love our Savior. I cannot thank you enough. I love you.

And,

To my second Momma... =) Thank you for raising my wonderful Husband in the ways of the Lord. Thank you for depending on the Lord through the years of bringing him to the point of leading me and now our family. I am grateful beyond words for the many many hours you have poured into his heart. And now, for the way that you have become a mom to me. I truly do consider you as my mom, and I am grateful for that and for the relationship that the Lord has blessed us with. Thank you for the wisdom and care that you so willingly give away. Thank you for the many meals and long talks at the kitchen table. =) I love you.

Happy Friday to you! Brynn is really cute this morning so I took some pictures for you. I love mornings 'cause she's my jammy girl and always so happy. =)

Today we put her robe on for the first time. I'd say it's a winner! so cute!

This is her newest pose. She get's here from her belly, so close to sitting up from her tummy all on her own. We call this her modeling pose... =)

My goofball. I'm so in love
Ok, so I told you I was going to try to get video of her seeing herself on the computer. Here it is. It's not as good as sometimes she's almost laughing at herself, but it's cute, you can tell when she see's herself. Enjoy!

First Time at the BEACH!!!!

Brynn had her first beach day last Friday... Well, she didn't seem to love it, but she will! Oh she will!!! =) I had a blast!

She did take a nap on the blanket in the shade, I was a little jealous.

We went with our wonderful friends, Emily, Sophie and Brynn's future husband Thomas.. hehe

We tried all different spots and positions, she wasn't a fan...

But she sure is cute!

Here is a hilarious video of our "not so relaxing" beach day... =)

Happy Girl...

Hi Everybody!
These past few weeks have been fun... I'm going to post everything in a few posts over the next few days. That way we aren't overwhelmed with all the pics. =)

This picture is for Danae and Hope...

We got to spend the weekend with Big Aunt Nene from Chicago, she came for the weekend to visit. It was SO wonderful to have her.. We had lot's of fun!
I think this picture acurately shows how chubby she's getting =)

Sweet girl

We had Brynn Dedicated at our church last week. What a special day, remembering that though we do all that we can, Brynn belongs to God, and He is in control of what happens in her life.

A few special people in our lives.. Todd Twining, who we thank over and over for pulling Daddy in to his office multiple times and encouraging him to love the Lord and serve the church! Thank you Todd, for all you've blessed us over the years, we're so excited that now you can be a part of our baby girls' life as well. =)

And Danny Jones, who has been my pastor and friend for my life. I'm so grateful for the many many conversations throughout my life where He's turned my gaze back to the cross of Christ, now to have him praying over my baby girl, well, I just can't quite describe what it meant to me.

Almost the whole family! Just missing Alyssa, Jake, Shannon and Danielle... We missed you guys! Thanks to everyone else for being there, we loved having you!

Notice anything different??

My beautiful girl got her ears pierced! That's our big news for the week! =) She was SO brave, she cried pretty hard, and momma felt horrible, but as soon as they were done with both ears she stopped crying and hasn't even cried about them again! She's my tough girl. I'm so glad we went ahead and did it, 'cause they are healing so well, she doesn't grab them at all and they don't seem to bother her. And she looks beautiful.
We also had our first pigtails... I was SO excited!
She wasn't nearly as thrilled as me.

Well, this was a big week.. She also got her first haircut from Aunt Holly! So pretty!

And here is where she is right now. Such an angel... =)

Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Some silly pictures...

The other day I was in the kitchen cleaning while Brynn sat in her seat watching my every move.. I was talking to her, while she smiled at me and talked back. I just started thinking about how I've dreamed about this season of my life for my whole life and here I am, and it's So much better than I could have ever dreamed. I have always said when asked what I wanted to be when grew up that I wanted to be a wife and a mommy. Here I am doing what I have believed to be the call on my life for years. God is SO good. I can't believe that He would be this kind to me. To bless me with a precious baby girl. She is so wonderful. I love her so much. It is wonderful being her Mommy.
Thank you Lord! Upmost for saving me, for sending Your only Son to rescue me, to take my punishment for my sin, so that I can be an heir with Your Son Jesus in your kingdom. Then, after giving me so much more than I deserve, you continue to bless me, to pour out your kindness on my life. By blessing me with a wonderful husband who loves You, who loves me and who provides for me to be home with my baby. Thank you for your faithfulness and kindness. Thank you for Brynn... what a blessing.. You are SO Good! I love you Lord!
Here are some goofy pictures of my girl to make you laugh... =)

I pray that today, the Lord reminds you of His kindness and Love for you, no matter what the circumstances that you are facing. Remember, God is good. Please, let me know if there is anything specific I can pray for you! =)

more giggles!

Here's another video of some pretty precious giggles! I was doing my own videography while making her laugh, so it's better for the sound than to see.. sorry! Oh yeah, by the way, we were playing pattacake... you know, you "throw 'em in the oven" at the end.. that was her favorite part. =) This is so fun! Being a momma...

A week with Deb and Seth

Well, I hope you're ready for some pictures! =)

We had SO much fun last week! My cousin Debi and her son Seth came to visit for the week. Brynn and I decided to pretend we were on vacation too! There's so many pictures I was going to do a slide show, but I just don't like them that much. I much prefer putting them up like this. So... Here's a "few" shots of the week..

Our little buddy Seth, just hanging out

Andrew waiting for the train at Disney!

Nana and Seth on the train

Brynn and Mommy on the train!
Deb and the boys

Such a cutie pie!

Then we even rode the carousel!

Brynn missed it, she was sleeping

How fun!

Seth all worn out

Look Momma, I see the castle!

We ate lunch in the Crystal Palace, where Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eyeore come visit your table! Thanks Deb!!!

Brynn wanted to be sad like Eyeore... =)

Brynn fell asleep for Tigger, so Mommy took a picture with him.

We rode the pooh ride and this was the most precious view Holly and I had from our row behind Andrew. What a cute head! It took many pictures to get the right one, and Holly and I missed the whole ride just looking at his cute head... haha!

My Favorite sister...

The boys had SO much fun playing in the water

Seth taught all the kids the right way to play...

Andrew thought it more fun to stomp on it
the girls..

Swinging at Aunt Lele's

Hangin' by the lake

Snuggling with Seth

Brynn and Bridget, so cute!

Oh boy! Time to ride the jetski!

Too bad it's so cold in Chicago huh?? =)

Hot tubbin Seth... He Loved it!
***Deb, we had SO much fun with you guys! Thanks so much for taking a week out of your vacation time to spend with us... We absolutely love it! Love you so much!***

I'm here!

Hey! I'm so sorry it's been such a long time since I posted anything! I've been taking ton's of pictures but haven't had time to post! So, there should be a few posts pretty close together here as I try to catch up! Today I'll just post some of my random cute pictures for you of our last two weeks or so... We've had a lot going on, but it's all been fun. Brynn is doing wonderful. She's such a great baby, every day I'm amazed at how wonderful she is. She's sleeping 6 hours at night for me (which at this age is considered "through the night"). She has been giggling more and more, but it's so unpredictable that I haven't gotten anymore on video yet. Oh my goodness it makes my day to hear her little belly laugh. So much fun! I can't even believe that this is my real life. I am blessed beyond measure. I can't even believe that God would bless my life so. He has been so wonderfully faithful to me and my family... Well, enjoy these pictures and I'll post more soon of all that we've been up to! =)

This is how she loves to watch tv

I found her after her morning nap like this. I was laughing SO hard!

So cute in the bath tub... she loves baths!! But she's very serious, it's no time to joke around..
(notice the chub!)

Brynn and Sammy =)

A day at the studio... lot's of fun, Brynn is very popular!

Ali and Brynn, two beautiful girls

How many dancers does it take to change a diaper??
Pretty girl who loves to eat her hands...

Always when we play on the floor, there is Sammy right with us... He doesn't drive us crazy at all... ;-)

She loves to sleep with something covering her face...

Trips!

Well, we had two wonderful trips this last week and a half... First Brynn, Danae and I got to go to Baltimore to see our cousins and Brynn and I got to spend a day and a half with Crystal Law who's in Gaithersburg with her husband Aaron who is attending Sovereign Grace's pastor's college. We had a wonderful time.. Here's our slide show of that trip...

Then, George, Brynn and I got to go to Chicago to visit my Aunt and Uncle (my Mom's sister and husband) for 5 days. We had so much fun as we always do. This is our third year in a row going in the winter to spend time with them. What a great trip it was! Aunt Jeanine aka Aunt Nene, cooked great meals for us and they spoiled us rotten... We're going on a diet now that we're home. =) We got to go to the museum of Science and Industry, which was a blast, and got to play in the snow some and spent time with the family... Thanks again Aunt Nene and Uncle D for a great time!
Oh yea, I think one of my favorite parts of the trip was reading letter's from my Grandpa to my grandma when they were dating. Actually the letters started before they were even dating. My Grandma saved them all, and man he wrote every few days for the two years before they got married! That was so special to see... I miss my Grandparents... Can't wait to see them in heaven! =)
Here's a few highlights of the week...

Hi everyone! We are doing well here.. Brynn is just continuing to grow... She is officially rolling over from her belly to her back now. At 8 weeks old! I'm telling her she's not allowed to be advanced, but she's not listening. =) She's a cutie. Sometimes she rolls right over, other times it takes a lot of work. Here's a video of her on her tummy eventually she rolls over, but I didn't catch it on video... So I only have before and after =) She's such a cutie!

Brynn and I got to go to Disney on Saturday with Holly, the girls and Nana. We had lot's of fun. Hello!

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!

I'm going to try to take lot's of pictures and post as often as I can for titi Alyssa since she's SO far away in Italy.. =) She made it safely and is having a wonderful time. If any of you are interested in keeping up with her and all that she's up to while she's away you can see her blog here.

Here's the baby girl all bundled up to go out in the cold 50 degree weather! I don't know if we'll make it up there aunt nene...

Every morning Brynn sits in her bouncy seat (that doesn't bounce it only vibrates) and watches me make my coffee patiently before she get's to eat.. her beautiful eyes watch my every move... Then she gives me smiles... I love her so much...

This is where she is right now... I went in to check on her and found her sleeping like an angel..
With her passie's over here together. I don't know how that happened, but thought it was really cute!

Hope you are all doing wonderful today! I am enjoying my blessings today. God is so good! =)

Bon Voyage Titi Alyssa!!

Well, today is the day Titi Alyssa leaves for Italy for five months... I've been dreading having to say goodbye, but I'm so excited for her! She's on her way over now to say goodbye..
I just wanted to ask you all to be in prayer for her, she's going to serve and share the gospel. She'll be in Udine, Italy teaching English and primarily sharing the gospel. She leaves this afternoon and will be traveling all night.
Alyssa, you are such a special lady! I cannot express how much I have come to love you over the past 5 years. You have truly become a sister to me. A best friend. I am going to miss you so very much as you are away.. I'm so proud of you, going off to Italy all by yourself to further the Kingdom of God. You do know you'll have to pick out your own drinks right? I won't be there to tell you what to get. Or to tell you to make your own decision! =) I want you to know that you will be in my prayers each and every day. You are such an example to those around you of a quiet and gentle spirit, what an evidence of Grace. Thank you for being the best sister in law I could ever ask for. I am so grateful to God for you and look forward to the years ahead, that I know will just get sweeter. Though this goodbye is bitter sweet, (just don't even think about staying over there) I really am so very excited for you and I know God has wonderful plans for you. Keep the eyes of your heart open to see all that He would have for you. Georgie, Brynn and I will be praying for just that. we love you beyond words. Have fun!!! And don't do anything I wouldn't do!!! =) hehe

Our week...

Hi! I am sorry it's taken me a little while to post! We've been busy around here! Last week was our first week with a somewhat normal schedule... I started back with dance (not my full schedule, just a few classes to start..) and I've started trying to get Brynn on a napping schedule. She's started taking her naps in her big girl bed in her room, here's a picture of her taking her morning nap...

Here we are at the Steamy Mug (our favorite coffee shop) with Aunt Lele.. Don't you just love that precious face?! =)
Here is Daddy reading her a book in spanish.. She just loves books already! It's amazing how they love to hear you reading, and she's already looking at the pictures...
Here she is watching Baby Einstein for the first time.. She liked it for a few minutes, then realized we weren't with her and didn't like that! Uh oh, already a bit spoiled!! We're working on that! =)

Here she's in her Sunday clothes... She was mad at me 'cause I hadn't fed her in two whole hours.. But she sure was beautiful! Thanks Aunt lele for the dress, and Titi lyssa and Abuela for the shoes!

We went to the Lytles on Sunday afternoon and Norah held Brynn for the first time.. She did great! Brynn looks a little nervous... =)

Here's she is playing with her toys... She loves them!

This video is from this morning, she was talking to me so cute, I thought you'd enjoy hearing her precious little voice...

video
We are having a blast with this little one.. I'm so grateful to God for her, and just love watching her grow up right before our eyes. I have to get going, we're having trouble with the morning nap this morning... =)

Smiles and more smiles...

Mornings are my favorite time of day... Brynn is always so happy in the mornings. This was our morning...

Then she saw the camera...
and made faces at it...
Oh, hi momma!
We saw her cousin Danielle sitting in her bumbo like a big girl, so we decided to try... She's such a strong girl! And she would only give me this goofy smile.. she cracks me up!

Baby's First Christmas... (and smiles..)

We had a wonderful Christmas again this year. What a special day it always is to spend time with the whole family. My brother Jake, his wife Shannon and their baby girl Danielle were able to come up for the weekend. It was wonderful having them with us! It was particularly special, since it was our first Christmas as Mommy and Daddy. Here are some pictures from the day...

First is our Christmas Eve family picture..

Here is Danae and Brynn in their Christmas morning jammie's...

Nana and Papa watching someone open a gift with Brynn

There was lot's of Wii playing on Christmas day...

Two baby cousins, plus cousin Hopey and Uncle Jake
We celebrated Christmas with George's family on Friday, but I forgot my camera. =( I was sick, so I have a little bit of an excuse. Abuelo and Abuela got Brynn this great toy, she LOVES it! Thank you guys!

And, she has started smiling. It just melts my heart everytime she does it. Today she was smiling so much that I had time to get my camera and get a few shots of it. Of course it's so hard to get a good picture of it when you're the one making them smile and the photographer, but here are a few attempts, these are towards the end of the smile, but just as precious..

She's always so happy on the changing table.. She loves to look over at the light in the middle of the ceiling.. So sweet
These are the pictures she'll hate later on in life, but I just can't resist. She's just soo cute!! =)

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are still enjoying time with family... Love to you all!

Happy Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas everyone!
Here are a few new pictures..
This is my baby girl with her little teddy, I decided to try it and see if maybe she liked it, thinking "she's too little, but what the heck?" She loved it! She held onto it all day.. So precious!

Last night we had the wonderful opportunity to be Mary and baby Jesus in a live Nativity. Brynn was such a great girl! We sat out there for 3 hours without taking a break and she was a trooper! She'd wake up and cry a little and then go right back to sleep.. She's a sweetheart!
Danae and Hope were with me and they got to be a part of it too. Here is Hope as the angel, and Danae is the shepherd at the bottom left sitting down. One of my students Mom asked me to be a part of this for their church. We had so much fun!

Then all the girls spent the night last night and we got up this morning and made christmas cut-out cookies. It's a tradition now for us to do this together, since today was our second year in a row.

I love spending time with you girls..

We are just rejoicing this year with our precious gift from God. I cannot even begin to express my gratefulness to the Lord for His kindness in giving us a beatiful healthy sweet baby girl. I am continuously amazed by His goodness and mercy on my life.
I pray that this Christmas your hearts are affected once again, or for the first time, by the sacrifice Jesus made, that He became nothing to be like us, in the form of man, so that He could rescue us from our sin, and from this fallen world. Hasn't He been good?!
Merry Christmas!

One month...

Whoops, I missed Thursday this week! =) Yesterday was a bit busy... Everything on the home front is going wonderfully. I am so blessed with Brynn, she is an amazing baby girl. She pretty much only cries when she's hungry or tired, and she's just such a sweetheart. She's gotten really alert and has been really studying Mommy.. =) I'm just loving being a momma.. Wednesday was her one month birthday. I cannot believe it's been one month! Time is flying!
This week we got some professional pictures back from before she was born and after.. Enjoy! =)

Once again it is already Thursday! I guess Thursday's are becoming my blogging day. =) My baby girl is growing up so fast already. She is just so beautiful and adorable. She's really starting to be so alert and aware, yesterday she was looking out the window and I walked in the room and started talking and she looked right at me. The cutest part is that I got it on video... =) She's sleeping lot's the past few days which scares me 'cause it probably means she's growing! This has been our first week home without any help (except my parents are still living here, but Mom's back to work so she's gone all day...). It's been good to start having a little bit of a schedule. I don't really have one yet, it consists of sitting with my girl, taking naps, trying to get the laundry done, thinking about going grocery shopping, etc... haha! I just want to enjoy this short season of my first baby. I know it's never like this again, so my priorities are that we're eating and wearing clean clothes. =) I'm slowly getting back to everything else. Here are some new pictures of our past week. We love you all!
Here is her trademark, she is always wrinkling up her forehead.. So cute!
My Aunt Jeannine aka: "Big Aunt Nene" (I'll leave out ferocious..) ;-) came last weekend all the way from the Windy City, Chicago to meet Brynn. It was SO wonderful having her here, we miss you already Aunt Nene!
The girls enjoying hot cocoa together! I love moments like these...

Brynn in her new Sunday clothes, compliments of my cousin Lisa! Thank you SO much, I think it's one of the cutest little outfits I've ever seen! She was SO precious in it!

Brynn's first Dolphins game at "Gators Dockside" since the game wasn't on local tv... She'll be a great sports fan if Daddy has anything to say about it!

Cozying up with Big Aunt Nene..

I think this is my all time favorite picture of Brynn so far in her life.
I LOVE IT!!!!

Pretty girl, with the forehead wrinkled up again!

This is still how I spend a majority of my day... Can you blame me??

Abuelo came to visit, he was singing to her and talking to her so much, she loved it!

Daddy and his baby girl

Mommy and her little princess

I asked George to keep her happy for a few minutes before I could feed her and I came out of the room and this is what I found. She Loved it! She was crying and crying and he got the guitar out and was playing it softly and she kept crying, then he played hard and she was mesmerized... I walked out to her just staring at her Daddy playing guitar. How sweet!

Well, that's all for now folks! Hope you are all doing well!

Catch up...

Well, the weeks are flying by! I can't believe that today is Thursday! Brynn turned two weeks this past Monday, and we've had lot's of fun over the past week.. Hope you enjoy these pictures. =)

Here she is all bundled up with Daddy ready for our first walk as a family...

Here she is in her stroller, just looking really cute...

Our happy family

She was just chillin with Mommy while she put clean clothes away.. We love to hang out together.

Mommy, Nana and Brynn went down to West Palm Beach to visit Uncle Jake and Aunt Shannon, and to meet Brynn's cousin Danielle. She's only three days older than her. We had so much fun! She also got to meet her Great Grandpa, Papa Louie, and my Great Aunt, Titi Helen. It was SO great to see them, we're so glad they came to visit.
She studied all their faces so she could really get to know them... Uncle Jake was really nice to her, even though he used to be mean to her Mommy.. haha ;-)

Here are the two precious cousins together!

We love our Nana!

Just some cousin pictures!

Pretty cute!

Brynn loved Danielle so much, She wanted to give her a kiss.. But she was sleepy so Brynn decided to let her sleep.

New Mommies, happy as can be..
She Loves her baths!!

Getting all dry... My beautiful girl...

We took a nap together today, this is how she was sleeping next to me on the couch... So precious, by the way, the pillow is up against her head, she doesn't have an oddly shaped head... =)

"Mommy's little ballerina" (Thank you SO much Tina and family!)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, Brynn had a wonderful first Thanksgiving! We celebrated with Uncle Matt, Aunt Kelly, Maddie, Nana and Papa on Wednesday night at Uncle Matt and Aunt Kelly's house. It was fun seeing them again! Then we spent Thanksgiving at Abuelo and Abuela's (George's parents) house, with the Twinings and Nana and Papa (Noelle's parents..) It was a fun day! We had dinner and then played some football and then some Dance Dance Revolution and then had worship together... Brynn had a great day, here are some pictures of our day.. Happy thanksgiving to everyone!
